STRONG BOND ACCELERATOR
FIXSAL Strong Bond Accelerator together with FIXSAL Strong Bond Adhesive provides a fast
cure bonding system.
A fast cure is recommended when an emergency repair is required or when working in difficult,
adverse conditions, extreme temperatures or with porous materials etc.
It is particularly recommended for mitre joints in industry such as kitchen fitting especially
MDF end grain.
It can be used in assembly.
It is possible to pre treat parts with the accelerator up to 48 hours prior to the bonding.
It is suitable to use with most materials such as: porcelain, china, crystal, glass, ceramic,
marble, wood, MDF, plastics, ABS, PVC, acrylic, rubber, leather, metal and many other
material types.
Good results can be achieved with this high-speed cure bonding system with many benefits
such as: strong on impact and can be handled with in 2 - 4 seconds,
if the surface is porous then 10 - 20 seconds, the final cure is 1 hour.
Note: The adjustment time is limited when joining parts.
USE:
FIXSAL Strong Bond Accelerator can be used with a brush or atomiser spray application.
Paint or spray the accelerator on one part and apply a thin film of glue to the other.
Press together for a few seconds or longer for porous materials.
If the surface to be bonded is very porous, the accelerator can be used as a sealant and
can be painted on both parts before gluing.
If the surface to be bonded is difficult, it can be prepared by first roughening the surface.
STORAGE:
It should be kept in the original dark container with cap closed and stored in a cool dry
place at 5o - 20o C. highly flammable.
Keep away from heat, naked flame, all sources of ignition and direct sunlight. 2 year shelf life.
CAUTION:
Keep out of the reach of children.
Irritant to skin and eyes.
In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice.
Use suitable gloves when handling or wash with soap and water after skin contact.
Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid breathing vapour and spray mist.
If exposed move to fresh air, keep warm and rest, seek medical advice.
Not to be taken internally.
If swallowed, drink plenty of water at least half a pint, do not induce vomiting,
seek medical advice.
If spilt on clothing, remove all contaminated cloths and shoes and wash before re using.
